DROP with Sara Schalliol-Hodge, February 2nd

Hello old friends!  ART DROP ARVADA is finally back in action and ready to spread the lovely works of local artists throughout our town. We've missed you all during our way-too-long hiatus.

In connection with Olde Town Arvada First Fridays, Art Drop Arvada will be hiding art throughout Olde Town every month--so come check out our incredible galleries and hunt for hidden treasures!

For this Friday's Art Drop, Sara Schalliol-Hodge (www.ilikesara.com) will be hiding her prints starting around 5:30pm this Friday, February 2nd.

Sara's bio, from ilikesara.com:
Sara Schalliol-Hodge is a designer and a maker. Originally from the woods of North Georgia, Sara grew up playing in mud, rowing on Lake Lanier, and making art of practically every kind. She attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, receiving a BFA in Industrial Design. You name it, Sara’s made it. She has worked in industrial design, furniture design, interior design, textile design, illustration, and printmaking.

Currently, Sara works out of her home studio in Denver, Colorado, where she primarily focuses on printmaking and illustration. Sara produces a line of greeting cards, archival prints, tea towels, block-printed fabrics, embroidered patches, stickers, and original linocut and woodcut prints. When she isn’t making things, Sara enjoys adventuring with her husband and two young children, hiking, petting furry animals, gardening, and baking.
